How long does shipping take and what does it cost?
Each item is made-to-order, which may result in longer waiting times. We ship orders once a month, and the delivery date will be indicated in the confirmation email. Standard delivery within the EU typically takes 3-5 business days from the shipping date, which is confirmed via email. Shipping costs vary depending on the destination and shipping method chosen and will be clearly listed during the checkout process.

Customs Fees and Taxes (EU / North America / Australia & Rest of the world):
Any potential customs fees and additional taxes may vary by country and are not included in the product prices listed. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. You can calculate your possible import duties with the calculator provided here: SimplyDuty Import Calculator.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
Orders cannot be modified or canceled once they have been shipped. If an item arrives damaged, please notify us within 7 days by sending a photo of the damage to hello@houseofemra.com. We will replace the product and cover all shipping costs. Returns are not accepted unless the item is damaged upon arrival.

Returns and Exchanges:
We do not accept returns or offer exchanges. Each product is uniquely made for the customer to avoid overproduction and minimize environmental impact. If a product is damaged upon arrival, we will replace it at no additional cost to the customer. The customer must report the damage within 7 days of receiving the item by sending a photo and description to hello@houseofemra.com.

Please note: If the customer refuses to accept a package and it is returned to us, the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs for resending the product. If the customer no longer wishes to receive the product, we will refund the amount minus the shipping and handling costs we incurred.

Contractual Partner

Offer and Contract Conclusion
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order. By clicking the order button, you place a binding order for the goods in the shopping cart. An order confirmation email or the delivery of goods within five days will signify acceptance of the contract.

Prices and Shipping Costs
Prices include statutory value-added tax and other components. Shipping costs are additional and clearly communicated on the product pages, in the shopping cart, and at checkout.

Delivery
We create each item individually on a pre-order basis. Delivery takes 3-5 business days after production is complete, unless otherwise stated. We ship once a month, and the delivery date is confirmed in the order email.

Payment
Payments can be made in advance, by credit card, PayPal, or other available methods. We reserve the right to limit payment options in specific cases.

Retention of Title
Goods remain the property of House of Emra until full payment has been made.

Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal. For details, please refer to our withdrawal policy.

Liability for Defects
If the purchased item is defective, the statutory liability for defects applies. Obvious defects must be reported in writing within 14 days of delivery.

Liability
We are fully liable for any damages caused by us, our legal representatives, or agents, including:

Injury to life, body, or health

Intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty

Breaches covered by product liability law

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Swiss law applies to all contracts and terms. The UN Sales Convention does not apply. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zurich.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The latest version is always available on our website.
